Today was carnivale

Today is carnivale...kinda like our halloween. It is a BIG deal here for sure. The costumes are very elaborate. The kids got to go to school dressed up and I even got to make homemade cupcakes to send to the class. Just like when I was a kid. (a long time ago.) I have a new appreciation for my mother. We had to make our own pom poms...but I thought it was cute that Nat wanted to be a Cowboys Cheerleader. That was one of her favorite reality shows in the States. She would get teary when the girls were told they didn't make the squad. Too cute!!
