Our new ride

We are blessed to have been able to purchase a car. God is so good. It even has air-conditioning. We are so thankful that He provided this for us. It is a Fiat dublo. And believe it or not I drove today in downtown Rome! No wrecks or anything. I did however make Kent a little car sick. It was either the heat or getting into the groove of driving a stick again that got him. You have no idea how good it is to have this car and not have to totally rely on public transportation...Because you never know when someone in our family needs to go to the emergency room.

Love the car!! So excited for you to have your own transportation. No more 3 mile walks in the 90 degree heat to church and back. Was great talking to you on the phone this evening. Love you all.

Sweet!!, Now you can come see us! HAHA! I am jealous though, you have A/C, punk. You know, we could meet each other half way in Venice. We could make a day or two of it. Anyways, we are glad you guys finally got a car, it's always nice to have your own wheels.

Hello Becky,
My name is Melissa and my husband is the youth pastor at Bible Baptist Church here in St. Charles MO, I believe we support you and your family. We went to college in Springfield and I worked at the pharmacy your mom and dad came to in order to get there medications so her and I blog back and forth, and the Wilbanks that are planning on coming and helping you all...my husband knows him from elementary school and their sending church is my husbands home church so it's all a little circle in the BBFI. I just wanted to introduce myself and let you know that we are praying for you and your family! Thank you for doing what you do and spreading the gospel where we cannot. Melissa

You go girl! We got our first A/C car this past January. The Brinlee's wanted our old car (hence Amanda's complaint of no a/c - ha!). We just celebrated 4 yrs. last week in Austria. Your in-laws are in our city and have told us how really nice your home is... if you can just get IKEA to cooperate :) We feel... know... understand your pain ;) Blessings!
