Things that have been going on

I know it has been a while since my last post. The internet has been very unstable. I do hope that you are still keeping us in your prayers.
1. We are moving into our new home on July 1. I am so excited and can't really believe it is actually happening. We have been living out of suitcases for so long that a place to call our own is a huge blessing. God has given us a four year contract which will keep us in the country!!! We were not expecting this. He is sooo faithful. (That doesn't mean we can't come home for special events...like weddings and other important events.)
2. We went to the Police Station to register more paperwork. After four hours we left having been able to sign our names, leave our fingerprints and fill out all kinds of forms. The children sat there the entire time. They were sooo good.
3. Everyone here knows Springfield though...They smile and say "Bart Simpson", it is our ice breaker now...it seems to get some laughs and make the mood lighter.
4. Just a note. Please keep us in your prayers. Days are hard here. We show you the hi lights and there are definitely low lights. The days sure do go by fast. God is faithful and we TRUST him.
5. Jon's parents are coming down for a visit this week. They are working in Austria and can come by train. They are helping us get settled into our new place a bit. More than anything it will be nice to see them.
6. We will be wrapping up our school year this week. YAY!! On Wednesday I will be going to the school the children will be attending. Please pray for this situation. I will be taking an interpreter and I am just praying the children will be accepted with open arms even though they don't know the language. WILL YOU PRAY TOO? This for me has been the hardest part of letting go of leaving home. The children and their education. We have to learn the language quickly!!
THANK YOU for ALL you do back home. We are soo grateful for your prayers and support. We miss you so much but are learning that where God wants us is where we want to be. Please leave us some comments. They are always an encouragement.

I really enjoy reading the window you give us into your lives! It also helps us to know how to better pray for you. I'll be praying for you as you register the kids in school and also that each of them will make great friends quickly!

We, too, are praying for the children as they start school. We're asking the Lord for quick learning of Italian, and for great friends and wonderful, caring teachers. We can trust the Lord, because HE IS TRUSTWORTHY!! Love you all so much.

I am so excited to hear how God is blessing your family. I will be praying for you all as you move into your new home. I am so glad that Jon's parents will be there to help you. I know it will be good for you to see them too. Also will be praying about the school. The kids will do great. I am sure they will pick up on the language and soon be teaching it to you and Jon. I know God will help you through these tough days. Just keep your eyes on Him and remember what He has called you there to do. Love you all.

Hi Becky-- well, your in-laws have been living all of 5 minutes away from us. they are so excited to come help you guys get settled into your new home. what a blessing to have family that can do that. our parents have visited, but once everything was 'in order' haha! if you guys ever need a get-a-way we have a guest room and live on 45 min. away from the Brinlee's (they all speak very highly of you guys). i'll be praying for the kiddos and school. our kids aren't as old as yours but we are finishing up the last week of school for Nathan (he's 4) and it's been a challenge and a joy to seem him learn German and develop. kids are so quick and innocent. they'll do great! we have a blog too: http://blog.caldwelljourney.net/

Have fun moving in!!
