update

To those who are wondering and who have been praying here is the latest update on my health. I have now gone into hypothyroidism. (which was expected.) I was placed on the thyroid replacement drug. I seem to be recovering very well. I had been allergic to some of the medicine I was on. I broke out in HIVES/WELPS all over for over a week. It was to say the least miserable. Thankfully I had the RAI (radio active Iodine) treatment. I was able to go off the drug. I still have a little ways to go but I am gaining strength every day. I have started sleeping at night so that is a huge help to my recovery. It will take some time to get it completely on the mend but I should be back to myself eventually. I am so thankful for that. Thank you so much for all your prayers and support of encouragement. You have no idea what it has meant to Jon and I and the children. I have been amazed at the many friends and family we have that just want to help us and encourage us. Jon leaves for Italy in a week to start getting things set up for when we go back. Please continue to pray for us as we start making plans to return as a family in a few weeks. We visited the consulate in St Louis to continue our visa paper work. When telling him about having to come home for my medical reasons his response was very encouraging for me to hear him say that he would come back to the States for care...(he is Italian) Although I know that we did the right thing it was nice to know that even he agreed.
