Blogging again

The last time I blogged was almost a year ago. Not because I haven't tried. It's a long story. Any way I am back. This summer is starting out a lot slower than last year as far as appointments go. Jon and the kids and I have literally been all over the country. I think there are 13 states we have yet to conquer on this thing we call deputation. It has been a lot of hard work and unbelieveable amounts of driving but this time next year we will be in Italy. Hard to imagine but at this point hard not to either. We have been taking this slower time to start paperwork and all kinds leg work going into leaving the country. We have found a school we are seriously going to look into. (for language) The next thing will be for the kids. And then apartments. (or flats) It almost seems overwhelming but Jon says to take it one step at a time. Thank you all for your continued prayers and support. We Have definitely felt the power of prayer. We have been to 90+ churches and Jon has booked 162 all together. His goal is 180. I am so proud of him. I guess working at MCI in college makes sense now. HA HA
We have celebrated our 10th anniversary this last May. Wow how time has flown. He is amazing and I love him so much. It's amazing how getting married and having kids just throws you into the real world that you thought you knew so well but really didn't. I can't imagine facing it with anyone else. We definitely get each other. The Lord has blessed us beyond anything I could have imagined. He has taken us down a road I would have never dared to go. Unbelieveable that couples try to make it without Him.
Well it's nice to be back in the blogging world again. I have kept up with most of you. I'm signing off for now. Tomorrow is an early day for the Liles boys and 10th inning. It's a good thing that baseball isn't in Italy. Our boys.... well you get the point. Hey tomorrow at 2 USA plays Italy on ABC. Wonder how that will go!
